Nothing. Video Wallpaper has no analytics, no crash reporting, no telemetry and no account system. It does not know who you are and cannot, because it never sends a request that would carry that information.

Your settings — the folder, the interval, the pause options and your licence key — are stored in macOS preferences on your own Mac. They are never transmitted.

Exactly one, and only when you ask for it: the Apple aerial downloader fetches videos from Apple's own content delivery network using the catalog macOS already ships. That request goes to Apple, not to us, and we see nothing about it.

Licence verification is offline. The app checks a cryptographic signature against a key compiled into it, so buying a licence does not create a record the app ever looks up.

This site is static. It sets no cookies, embeds no analytics and loads no third-party scripts. Our host records standard server logs (IP address, page, timestamp) for security and abuse prevention, retained briefly and never combined with anything else.

The activation page reads your licence key from the link you clicked in order to hand it to the app on your Mac. That key is not sent to us and is not stored by this site.

Purchases are handled by our merchant of record, who is the seller of record for the transaction and processes your payment details. We never see your card. They provide us with your email address and what you bought so we can issue your licence and support you.

Their privacy policy governs the payment itself, and is linked from the checkout page.

Because we hold almost nothing, most data requests resolve to "we have your purchase email and your order id". You can ask us to delete those at support@dfacto.ai, understanding that it also ends our ability to re-issue your licence.
